zenCart Tutorial:  How to send newsletter in Zen cart

Customers have to make login to place a order. During checkout they are asked for the subscription of newsletter. Main advantage of these newsletters is to inform the customers about latest products and special offers. You can inform the customer about latest updates of the store. It is very easy to add a newsletter in Zen cart. You have to follow some simple steps to create a newsletter at the admin end.

• Login to the admin end then Go to the Tools menu option -> Select newsletter manager and product notification manager from the list. Then click on new newsletter button. You can see the following window.

• Give a subject to the newsletter. Then type the content that you want to display and click on save option. You can perform four functions on the newsletter send, edit, preview and delete. To make modification in the newsletter click on the edit option. If you want to delete it click on delete button. You can also check the preview. Preview will look like this:

• Now it’s the time to send the newsletter. Click on send option. Select the customer list to which you want to send this newsletter. Click on send option and your message will be posted successfully.
  
  

• Similarly you can send the product notification to the customer.  Login to the admin end then Go to the Tools menu option -> Select newsletter manager and product notification manager from the list. Then click on new newsletter button. Choose product notification in the module. Add the small description then click on save option.

• When you will save the product notification module then you can see four options. Edit, delete, preview and send option. As you will click on send option it will ask for the product that you want to add for product notification.

• On the left hand it will display list of all products available in the store. Select the desired product then add it to the product notification window by using forward arrow. Then click on send option. Your message will be successfully posted on customer wall. Now you are ready to add newsletter and product notification in Zen cart
