Till now we have learned how to change the content of home page. Now we will learn how to make changes in the left and right column.
- Let us remove the remove the search box from the right column. To remove the search box you have to login to admin back end. Then go to the Tools menu then select the define page Editor option from the men. It would display the following window.
- Select the search.php file and click on the edit option on the right. Make the column status OFF. Now you can see that search box has been disappeared from the front page.
- Let us again add the search box but this time at a different position. Click on the edit option and change the column status of search box. Add the sort order to display the search box at the desired location.
- Similarly you can change left column attributes according to your requirement.
