If upgrades are available it’s probably a good idea to visit the Sugar CRM main website and read up on whether it is a crucial update, bug fix, etc. This will help you keep your Sugar CRM installation running smoothly and up to date.
User Management
Under this link you will be able to add new users to your Sugar CRM database and manage the roles they will have when accessing their account. Keep in mind that this is meant to manage users such as Employees of your company, Sales and Marketing people that will have access to your data, etc. This is not meant to manage leads, contacts, etc. for marketing or sales tracking purposes.

Once you are in the user management area you can add new users simply by clicking on the Create New User Tab. You also have the option of importing users but it is strongly recommended that you create at least one test user first and then perform an export so that you can become familiar with the fields that are available for mapping when importing new users.

After you click on Create New user you will be taken to an interface where you can enter the users details such as first name/last name, their contact details, user type, and status. There are also several other tabs to define the user’s password and set advanced setting such as Time Zone, Date Formats, Default Reminder times, and what Navigation Tabs will be shown by default.
