• System Settings

Under the Systems Settings page you will be able to administer a number of default setting related to your Sugar CRM installation.

 

Some of these setting include being able to upload a logo for your company’s Sugar CRM theme as well as defining the default number of items that will be listed per page in list view (such as contacts, leads, accounts, etc.)

 

Here you can also set the name of your Sugar CRM system (typically your company name) and decide whether or not you want users to be able to customize their home page layout and how many Sugar “dashlets” they can view.


Moving down the available system settings you will start to see more options such as enabling mail merge. Enabling mail merge will allow you to create bulk personalized email messages when sending out emails from the system.

 

There are also a number of server and log settings that you can define if you are an advanced user that likes to review this sort of information. These features are probably a little more important if you have an active system with a large number of users. By logging the activity you may be able to pinpoint or troubleshoot errors caused by excessive load.

 

 

• Locale

If you would like to change the way items such as Date, Time Format, Language,  and Names are displayed then you should visit the Locale Settings.

 

Here you can also manage the currency that is displayed, what symbol you would like to use, and what the ISO currency code is for displaying currency in Sugar CRM.

If you would like to disable, or only allow the administrator to export records, then you can manage your Export Settings under the Sugar CRM Locale Settings.
