  • Configure Tabs

The “Configure Tabs” administrator module in Sugar CRM is a very basic function that simply allows you to either display or hide the default navigation tabs such as Home, Accounts, Opportunities, Activities, etc. You can also use this module to either allow or prevent your users from being able to hide their tabs simply by checking or un-checking a box and clicking “save”.

  • Configure Subpanels

Sub-Panels in Sugar CRM are the navigation items that appear below items such as Accounts and Contacts when you are viewing them. This includes items that are related to the record such as Activities, a Log of Campaigns, Tags, Related Opportunities, etc.

These are basically an all-in-one overview of your accounts and contacts history and you may find that you don’t need to use some of these features and may want to hide them to save on screen space if they are not used.
