You can add more than one sales tax in osCommerce. You have to follow some simple steps to configure sales tax in osCommerce.
- Login to admin panel and Go to the Localization/Taxes menu on the left. Select the Tax Zones option from the list. Click on the insert option to add a new Tax Zone. You can see the following window.
- Here type the Zone name and its short description. Click on Insert option to add new zone. You can see the following window.
- Let us add the new zone to country. Click on details button. You can see the following window.
- Select the country and Zone then click on insert button. Now remove the Florida default tax zone.
- At the last, add the tax rate for the new tax zone. Go to the Localization/Taxes menu on the left and select the Tax rates. Click on the new tax rate button. You can see the following button.
- Add the Tax class, Zone and Tax rate. Add small description and also set the priority if it is necessary. Click on Insert button. You have successfully configured the sales tax. Now you are able to add sales tax in osCommerce.
