• Login to the admin panel and go to the Users and Groups menu at the top. You can see the following window.

Browser Users: In this section, you can browse complete list of users registered in your forum according to defined views. Views are particularly used for generating different result sets with different information. You can also search for a particular user in MyBB.


Find Users: Here you can search for users of your forum. The fewer fields you fill in, the broader your search is; the more you fill in, the narrower your search is.

Create New User: Here you can add new user in MyBB forum. Add complete information and at the last click on the save user option. In this way, you can add new user in the forum.

Merge users: Here you can merge two user accounts in to one. The "Source Account" will be merged in to the "Destination Account" leaving only the destination account. The source accounts posts, threads, private messages, calendar events, post count and buddy list will be merged in to the destination account.


Managing Groups in MyBB Forum


Here you can manage the various user groups on your board. In addition, for staff groups, you can manage their display order on the forum team page. Leave all as "0" sorts the group alphabetically. If you change the order of these groups, be sure to submit the form at the bottom of the page.



Add New User Group: Here you can create a new user group and optionally copy the permissions from another user group. After saving the user group you will be taken to the full edit page for this user group.

• Managing user titles in MyBB Forum

• This section allows management of user titles. User titles are assigned to users based on the number of posts they make and also allow a custom 'Star' image to be shown based on the number of posts the user has.

Add New User Title: Here you can add new user title in MyBB forum. Add complete information and at the last click on the save user title option. In this way, you can add new user title in the forum.

• Admin Permissions in MyBB forum

Here you can manage the administrator permissions for individual users. This effectively allows you to lock certain administrators out of different areas of the Admin Control Panel.

Group Permissions: Administrator permissions can also be applied to user groups that have permission to access the Admin CP. Similarly you can use this tool to lock out entire administrative groups from accessing the different areas of the Admin Control Panel.


Mass mail in MyBB Forum

• Here you can manage mass mailings that are currently being sent or are queued for the future.

Create New Mailing: Here you can create a new mass mailing and set its options.
Mass Mailing Archive:  Here you can view a log of mass mailings that have already been sent.

• Group Promotions in MyBB Forum

• Here you can manage group promotions in MyBB forum.

Add New Promotion:  Here you can create new promotions which are automatically run on your board.

View Promotion Logs: Here you can view logs of promotions previously run.
