You can also ban users from accessing your bulletin board. You have to follow some simple steps in order to ban users in MyBB.
- Login to the admin panel and click on the Configuration -> banning option. You can block users in four modes.
- The first mode is IP address. Here you can manage IP addresses which are banned from accessing your board. You can also set a range of IP address.

- The second mode is account. Here you can manage user accounts which are banned from access to the board.

- The third mode is disallowed usernames. Here you manage a list of usernames which cannot be registered or used by users. This feature is also particularly useful for reserving usernames.

- Last mode is email address. You can also ban users through their email addresses. Here you manage a list of email addresses which cannot be registered or used by users.
- Banning is an easy option to protect your website from unwanted users.
