Add a Category and subcategory
This is very easy to add a category in Cube cart. You have to follow some simple steps to add a category in Cube cart.
- Login to admin panel and Go to the catalog menu on the left. You can see the following window.
- As you can see there is only one category added in the store. Let us learn how to add a new category. Click on the new category option on the right. You can see the following window.
- Add the name of category. Select the category level. Top level means you are creating main directory. You can also upload image for the category. This is optional. At the end, click on Add button. You will see the following window.
- You can see that category has been successfully added to the store. You can edit an existing directory by clicking over Edit option. To delete a category, click on Delete option.
- Now let us create a sub category. Again click on Add new option on the right. You can see the following window.
- Give the name of sub category. The main difference is in Category level. Select the category to which you want to add a sub category. Upload an image and click on add button. Subcategory has been successfully added to the store. Now you can add category and sub category in Cube cart.
