Site Software is a special feature in CPanel that allows automatic installation of ATutor with a few clicks. You have to follow some simple steps to install ATutor automatically.
- Login to CPanel and click on the Site Software service. Here you will find ATutor link under learning management system (LMS) section.
- Now click on the ATutor link and give admin username and password to access the back end.
- Specify the directory where you want to install ATutor application. At the last click on the Install button. In this way, you can install ATutor application.
aTutor Manual Installation
In case, Site software service is not available in CPanel then you can install ATutor manually. Manual installation is little bit tricky as compared to automatic installation.
- In order to install ATutor manually, you should first download the latest ATutor package. Extract the files on your computer then upload the files.
- There are two ways of uploading files. You can upload files either through FTP Client or through CPanel -> File Manager.
- Upload the files at the proper location and type the correct URL to access the ATutor application.
- Also create a database using CPanel. Add a database user with complete permissions. Also add password for the database users.
- Now open the folder on the web browser where you have uploaded the files. Follow the steps one by one. All steps are self explanatory. Also add the database username and password during manual installation. In this way, you can install ATutor manually.
